September 28, 1995 is a historical date in the development of ART in Kazakhstan. It was on this day that we received official permission to introduce the in vitro fertilization method in the city human reproduction center, the first IVF Center in Kazakhstan. This significant event gave rise to the development of ART (assisted reproductive technologies) in Kazakhstan. The first IVF laboratory, opened in 1995, grew into the Institute of Reproductive Medicine (IRM) with a full range of treatment: IVF department, cytogenetics and comparative genomic hybridization, antenatal clinic, operative gynecology, andrology department, department of postgraduate education for training specialists of IVF centers.

Currently, there are already 18 IVF centers in Kazakhstan and we are proud that we stood at the origins of this service and were able to give parental happiness to thousands of families.
