LOW FREQUENCY ULTRASONIC CAVITATION OF THE UTERINE CAVITY
Today, a method of irrigating the uterine cavity with medicinal solutions cavitated by low-frequency ultrasound is unique in terms of treating pathology of the endometrium (inner layer of the uterus).
The basic principle of this method is to irrigate the uterine mucosa with a medicinal solution treated with low-frequency ultrasound. An ultrasound machine generates frequencies that, passing through the medicinal solution, form microbubbles inside the uterine cavity. The bubbles increase and, having reached their maximum size, explode, forming shock microwaves.
Microscopic shock waves destroy pathological microflora and have a therapeutic effect on the inner layer of the uterus (endometrium), and additional mechanical action helps to destroy biofilms of bacteria and viruses, stimulate the receptor apparatus of the uterus, improve trophism and microcirculation as a result of tissue micromassage. The impact of ultrasound waves with drugs allows them to penetrate into the deeper layers of the uterus, which significantly improves the effectiveness of treatment.
MAIN INDICATIONS:
• Chronic endometritis
• Thin endometrium
• Miscarriage (spontaneous miscarriages, non-developing pregnancy)
• After unsuccessful IVF attempts.
The need for ultrasonic cavitation and medicinal solutions are determined strictly by the attending physician.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
• intolerance (allergy) to drugs used for irrigation;
• first 3 months of pregnancy;
• oncological diseases of various localizations;
HOW THE PROCEDURE IS CARRIED OUT:
The procedures begin on days 5-9 of the menstrual cycle. The number of procedures in one menstrual cycle is 5-10. The course of treatment is 2-3 months.
The procedure is carried out under completely sterile conditions using a special apparatus. During the procedure, the patient is positioned on a gynecological chair. Anesthesia is not required for ultrasonic cavitation. The preparations necessary for this manipulation, as well as the equipment, are prepared immediately before irrigation.
• The tip of the ultrasound unit is carefully inserted into the uterine cavity through the cervical canal. Then the medicinal composition is supplied to the uterus and ultrasound is applied. The whole procedure takes no more than 10 minutes.
The use of the method helps restore the reproductive function of women, increases the frequency of desired pregnancies (both when conceiving naturally and when using assisted reproductive technologies). At the same time, the treatment procedure is quite comfortable and safe for the patient and does not require large time and material costs.
The cost of one procedure (without the drug) is 6,500 tenge.
