On September 23, a presentation of simulation equipment for reproductologists took place at KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov.
Now, the training program for reproductive specialists will include practicing practical skills on simulation equipment and mannequins. Reproduction specialists will be trained in egg retrieval and embryo transfer, one of the important stages in IVF.
We signed a memorandum between KazNMU named after. S.D. Asfendiyarov and the Institute of Reproductive Medicine (IRM) on mutual cooperation, which will improve the level of training of reproductive specialists.
I would also like to share with you my impressions of visiting the simulation center of the Kazakh National Medical University. S.D. Asfendiyarov.
When a few years ago I was in Germany, at the Berlin Medical University, to exchange practical experience, I admired the level of their organization of the educational process, their equipment with dummies that clearly simulate this or that clinical situation for training future young specialists, not hoping that this could soon be the case with us. But today I was surprised and delighted that at the National Medical University, named after S.D. Asfendiyarov already has such a center equipped with real medical equipment and high-tech robotic mannequins for adults and children, including newborns, pregnant women and women in labor. The training allows you to simulate any clinical situations, both in pediatrics and in surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, therapy, and practice practical skills in providing emergency resuscitation care.
We wish the rector of KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor T. Nurgozhin and his team further success in the development of technological innovations and express our deep gratitude for creating excellent conditions for improving the quality of medical education.
