🔸WHAT IS EMBRYO CRYOPRESERVATION AND WHY IS IT NEEDED?

The essence of the technology is deep freezing of cells in liquid nitrogen with the possibility of subsequent defrosting and use for transfer to the uterus.

All biological processes in cells stop, the life cycle freezes, and this makes it possible to store the material for a long time until the moment it is needed.

⚠️IRM Clinic uses the most effective method - the vitrification method.

️On average, the survival rate of embryos after cryopreservation is more than 95%.

To store embryos, special straws are used, each of which contains 1-2 embryos.

The straws indicate the patient's name, identification number, date of freezing and number of embryos.

The straw is placed in a dewar with liquid nitrogen.

Storage temperature is -196 C❄️

✳️RULES FOR STORING EMBRYOS AT IRM Clinic

1️⃣.If cryopreservation of embryos is necessary, patients sign an informed consent indicating the storage period.

2️⃣. Payment for cryopreservation and further storage of embryos is made in cash or by bank transfer.

3️⃣.Storage is paid both monthly and a year in advance. The cost of storage per month for citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan is 4,500 tenge. For foreign citizens 6,000 tenge.

4️⃣. Upon expiration of the paid embryo storage period, you must contact the legal department of IRM Clinic and resolve the issue:

✔️about extension of storage;

✔️about the destruction of embryos.

⚠️By freezing embryos, the patient takes RESPONSIBILITY for maintaining contact with the clinic and notifying of any changes in contact information.
