Dear patients! A new service has been introduced into IRM -
Ultrasonic cavitation of the uterine cavity.
Ultrasonic cavitation is a procedure in which tissue is exposed to low frequency ultrasound. The technique is innovative and has reliably proven itself to be highly effective and safe. The maximum benefit of the procedure is achieved when it is carried out through a liquid medium, when a finely dispersed cavitated solution is used to irrigate tissues.
Main indications:
• Chronic endometritis
• Miscarriage
• After unsuccessful IVF attempts.
The need for ultrasound cavitation in gynecology is determined strictly by the attending physician.
Contraindications:
• intolerance (allergy) to drugs used for irrigation;
• first 3 months of pregnancy;
• cancerous tumors in the body;
• neoplasms in the body that are in a borderline state between benign and malignant forms.
How the procedure is carried out.
The procedures begin on days 5-9 of the menstrual cycle. On average, 5 procedures are required per menstrual cycle. The course of treatment is 3 months.
Ultrasonic cavitation in gynecology is carried out under completely sterile conditions using a special apparatus. During the procedure, the patient is positioned on a gynecological chair. Anesthesia is not required for ultrasonic cavitation. The preparations necessary for this manipulation, as well as the equipment, are prepared immediately before irrigation. The simplest procedure is the treatment of the external genitalia; cavitation of the uterine cavity is the most complex.
• During intrauterine treatment, the tip of the device is carefully inserted into the uterine cavity through the cervical canal. Then the medicinal composition is supplied to the uterus and ultrasound is applied. The whole procedure takes no more than 7 minutes.
• When treating the vagina, the tip of the device is inserted into its cavity, after which the drug is delivered there and the ultrasound is applied.
• Treatment of the external genitalia is carried out without inserting the tip of the device. The solution is applied mainly using a cotton swab and then ultrasonic treatment is carried out using a special nozzle.
The cost of the procedure is 6,500 tenge.
